Diplomatic rhetoric is a practical course that highlights the development by students of the key competencies needed to communicate in an appropriate and socially accepted professional context by acquiring specific knowledge, skills and attitudes in accordance with the requirements of the Curriculum and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students specializing in international relations will become familiar with and learn more about the subject of diplomatic practice and international procedure, in particular, the rules and regulations necessary for the preparation of diplomatic correspondence, the organization and conduct of diplomatic visits and meetings. The knowledge that students would gain would serve as a benchmark in the act of communication in English in the context of diplomatic activity.
